What is the recovery time for labiaplasty?
After your surgery, you can expect some swelling. A cold compress can be applied for 15 minutes at a time. You will have medications to help speed healing and keep you comfortable, although many need only over the counter pain medication. We advise taking a few days off work to fully recover, and limit walking and other activities that could put stress on the stitches. The swelling, itching and other aspects of recovery typically fade within two weeks, with the results starting to become visible. We carefully monitor our patients and will meet with you to ensure your healing is proceeding as it should.
